El tumor de células granulares (TCG) es una neoplasia muy infrecuente y usualmente benigna, Â que afecta preferentemente a la lengua. En sólo un 6% de los casos publicados ha sido primario de la mama. Desde el punto de vista clínico e imagenológico, se plantea el diagnóstico diferencial con un carcinoma mamario invasor. Por ende, el examen anatomopatológico de muestras por punción o quirúrgicas, es crucial para establecer el diagnóstico e intentar subclasificarlo para predecir su conducta biológica. Se presenta el caso de una mujer chilena de 54 años con un TCG de la mama izquierda.
